Welcome to MinWien2023!

 

MinWien2023 , a joint meeting of the Mineralogical Societies of Austria, Germany, and Slovakia, is dedicated to Mineralogy, Petrology, Geochemistry, and related fields in the broadest sense. Fundamental and applied research topics will be considered as well as review studies. The conference will address current scientific findings and new advances, but more traditional subject matter is also welcome. Scientists from Academia and Industry, at all career levels, are invited to attend the conference and to present and discuss their results. MinWien2023 is expected to be a stimulating meeting that will open up future developments in the Mineralogical Sciences, Petrology, and Geochemistry.

Public Event - Öffentliche Veranstaltung!

All participants can enjoy the wide variety of historical, social, and cultural sights the city of Vienna offers. Therefore, in addition to science, this year’s meeting promises to be an exciting event.

A pre-conference field trip to the Male Karpaty Mountains is in preparation.

The conference language is English.

MinWien2023 will be organized by the Institut für Mineralogie und Kristallographie
of the University of Vienna.
